4th of July in Bordentown: Closures, Trash Collection Updates

The Bordentown Township municipal building will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 in observance of the holiday.

The Bordentown City municipal building will be closed on Thursday, according to the calendar on the City's website .

The Bordentown Branch of the Burlington County Library System, as well as the Post Office, will also be closed on Thursday.

In Bordentown Township, trash collection for Zone 3 will be delayed by one day and will take place this week on Friday, July 5. Garbage pick-up for all other zones will remain the same. All requests for bulk pick-up for Monday, July 8 need to be received no later than 3PM on Wednesday, July 3. The Bordentown community can celebrate the holiday at Bordentown Township's and the Foundation for Bordentown Traditions' Independence Day Fireworks display on Wednesday, July 3. The 10th annual event is taking place at Joseph Lawrence Park. Activities for the whole family will begin at 4:30PM, and the fireworks display will begin at 9PM.
