Amarillo Botanical Gardens, BSA Hospice to host 2024 Annual Garden Walk this Sunday
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - BSA Hospice of the Southwest is hosting a garden walk event for those grieving the loss of a loved one this Sunday. “It’s a combination of really two great things which is nature and the Botanical Gardens and then being around supportive grieving people. We have people that come annually to kind of honor their loved ones, so there’s no time frame whenever people want to come,” said Alyssa Jenkins, LMSW, Bereavement Coordinator at BSA Hospice of the Southwest.

Woman pleads guilty, sentenced to 12 years after fatal 2022 shooting in Amarillo
According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, a woman who was indicted for murder after the February 2022 shooting death of a man in east Amarillo now faces 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
