Job Seekers, Employees Now Have Right to Salary Range Data in Mass.
BOSTON – Governor Maura Healey signed into law on Thursday that requires salary range disclosure from employers and protects an employee’s right to ask for salary ranges. The law requires public and private employers with over 25 or more employees to disclose pay ranges in job advertisements. It also requires employers to to provide a pay range to an employee offered a promotion or transfer. Employers must also provide the pay range, upon request, to employees for the position they already hold, or one they are applying for.

Man accused in niece's death agrees to return to Washington to face charges
CONCORD, N.H. — A man suspected in the death of his 7-year-old niece is headed back to Washington state after he was arrested last month in New Hampshire. Demiko Fox, 22, was arrested in Bow in July. In a hearing Thursday in Concord Circuit Court, he agreed to go back to Washington to face charges.
