1 person killed in Methuen crash
One person was killed in a crash in Methuen, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning. Methuen police they responded to a crash around 7:30 a.m. on Lowell Street near Winstead Avenue. When they arrived they discovered a head-on collision had occurred between a Toyota RAV4 and a Mack dump truck. The driver of the Toyota was trapped inside the SUV, suffering from serious injuries.

Two Men Arrested for Drug Distribution After Tractor Trailor Stopped in Andover
BOSTON – Two Indian nationals were arrested on July 29, 2024, in connection with the distribution of controlled substances. Simranjit Singh, 28, and Gusimrat Singh, 19, of Fresno, Calif. were each charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. Both men made initial appearances yesterday in federal court in Boston and remain in federal custody at this time.
