    About Camp RYLA

Camp RYLA (aka the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where young people can develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections.

This year, the camp will take place June 30 - July 5.

    RYLA aims to:

    • Demonstrate Rotary’s respect and concern for youth

    • Provide experiential training for selected youth and potential leaders

    • Promote peer-to-peer collaboration and cooperation

    • Recognize young people who are rendering admirable service to their communities.

Also, during the meeting, Bosque Rotary Club President An Thompson and BCRC’s Clifton Food Bank Liaison Deb Phinney presented Clifton Food Bank Coordinator Kathy Meissner with a donation check on behalf of the Club.

Operated by participating church members through the Clifton Ministerial Alliance, the food bank’s sole source of funding comes from private donations. The local food bank receives no funds from local, state, or federal governments.

The food bank assists the food security needs of 65-90 families each week; the Clifton mobile food pantry assists around 260 families per month, Meissner said.
