HAUGHTON, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Bossier Parish Police Jury have issued a boil advisory for Haughton residents on the Village Water System. According to the news release with the Consolidated Water System states, ‘the pump at the station on Wafer Road lost power after receiving a power surge while SWEPCO were busy restoring power to a nearby line.’
