    The annual Pride parade will return to the streets of Boston on Saturday, June 8, but that’s not all that’s planned! South Boston is gearing up for Pride Month with a vibrant array of events and activities designed to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community. Below is your guide to Pride events in and around Southie. Check back this list may be updated!

    Pride Kickoff: Bar Volpe’s Annual Tea Dance | Saturday, June 1 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Bar Vlope, 170 West Broadway, South Boston | $10.00 | It’s time to kick off PRIDE month in style at Bar Volpe’s annual Tea Dance! Dance the afternoon away with tunes by DJ Stell. They’ll have snacks, drinks, a photobooth, and … did someone say FLASH TATTOOS?! Get ready to dance, mingle, and celebrate love in all its forms.

    Pride Yoga at Burro Bar South End | Saturday, June 1 | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Burro Bar South End, 1357 Washington Street, Boston | $22.00 | Join Burro Bar for a 45 minute-long, all-level vinyasa flow yoga class centering around self-affirmation, dignity, equality + peace, and stay after for a complimentary Partida cocktail or a mocktail with your fellow yogis! The class is taught by Courtney Marino (@courtlovesyoga), a Registered Yoga Teacher.

    Flight Club – Pride Cocktail & Rainbow Cake (benefitting BAGLY) The Pride Cocktail, crafted with Empress Gin, Ketel One Grapefruit, rose, hibiscus, lemon, egg white, and edible glitter is available with three different topper designs. Complementing the colorful cocktail, the vibrant Rainbow Cake is layered with joy and topped with creamy vanilla icing and rainbow sprinkles. To further support the community during Pride Month, Flight Club is committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from each menu item to benefit BAGLY: The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth.     2024 Pride Kickoff Boston Harbor Cruise | Saturday, June 2 | 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM | Massachusetts Bay Lines, 60 Rowes Wharf, Boston | $55 | Boston Alliance of Gay Sports partners with Mass Bears and Cubs to bring you their Pride 2024 Kick-Off Boston Harbor Cruise! Boarding starts at 2:30 p.m., with a 3 p.m. departure. The three-hour cruise ends with the Music City Queen returning to dock at 6 p.m. Complimentary buffet, cash bar, DJ, dance music, door prizes, and more! This is a 21+ event, proper ID required.

    LesbianNightLife Rooftop at Revere Hotel Pride Party | Frida, June 7 | 7 PM | The Revere Hotel Boston Common, 200 Stuart Street, Boston | Dance under the stars and indulge in some of Boston’s best hand-crafted cocktails in a series of Summer Rooftop events brought to you by LesbianNightLife!

    Road of Rainbows 5K | Thursday, June 8 | 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM | Boston Common Bandstand, 139 Tremont Street, Boston | $35 | 2024 will mark the 4th annual running of Boston Theater Company’s Road of Rainbows – the first athletic event of its kind in Massachusetts, where gender has no bounds. The Road of Rainbows is an all-inclusive event that is as much about running as it is about showing off your inner unicorn. Runners and walkers of ALL genders and abilities are welcome. For all LGBTQ+ folks and supporters.

    DTX Pride Block Party | Saturday, June 1 | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Summer Street Plaza | Free | DJ Live will be providing all the hits, with special performances from Candace Persuasion, Lilly Rose Valore, and more.

    Boston Pride Kick-Off | Monday, June 3 | 11:00 AM | City Hall Plaza, 1 City Hall Sq., Boston | Free | The City of Boston’s celebrations kickoff with a flag raising, remarks from Boston Pride 4 The People, Road of Rainbows, Museum of Science, and performances.

    Paint & Sip Pride | Saturday, June 1 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Boston Public Market, 100 Hanover Street, Boston | $55.00 | Join Logan, Laurel Greenfield Art’s creative director, for a fun and creative evening painting pride flags. Grab a paintbrush, enjoy some drinks, and let your creativity flow as we paint together in a supportive and inclusive environment. No experience is necessary – just come ready to have a great time!

    Made With Pride Market | Sunday, June 2 | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Time Out Market, 401 Park Drive, Boston | Free to attend | Get into the spirit at Time Out Market Bosto where a market extravaganza awaits!     Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Proud Bluebikes | June 1-June 30 | Boston | In celebration of Pride Month this June, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”) is launching 100 rainbow-themed Bluebikes into Greater Boston’s bikeshare system to help drive awareness for LGBTQIA+ equality. The “Proud Bikes,” available in both pedal and ebike formats, will be accessible throughout the system’s 13 municipalities and will be showcased in the Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8.
