Jason and Mike react immediately following the Boston Celtics taking Game 1 of the NBA Finals over the Dallas Mavericks. After watching Kristaps Porzingis serve as the driving force in Boston's victory, Jason has come to the conclusion that the Celtics' team building strategy of "out-talenting" their competition, is actually a pretty effective one.

Jason Smith: "Porzingis actually is a shining example of the biggest critique that people have of the Celtics, but it's actually also why they're gonna wind up winning the title... [It's that] the Celtics are incredibly talented. They get a lot of criticism for it. What kind of offense do they run? Do they really run a system? Are they consistent with what they do offensively? Well, no, they're not. What the Celtics do is they just 'out-talent' you. That's what they do. That's a criticism that they get, but you know what? 'Out-talenting' a team is a strategy. When you have players that can do stuff like Tatum and Brown and Porzingis can do, sometimes you've just gotta let them do their thing and you live with the results... If they win this series, they'll win because they 'out-talent' the Dallas Mavericks."
Mike Harmon: "They don't have to rely entirely on one guy to be on... [For Dallas], Luka had one assist tonight [and they got blown out]!"
