DCR Traffic Advisory – Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester

Beginning on Sunday, June 9, 2024, and continuing through Thursday, June 20, 2024, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close lanes along Morrissey Boulevard between Freeport Street and Old Colony Avenue in the City of Boston to accommodate roadway milling and paving work.

Sunday, June 9 through Thursday, June 13, 2024, work will be conducted from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, June 14, 2024, through Thursday, June 20, 2024, work will be conducted from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and police details will be onsite.

The work schedule is as follows:

Sunday, June 9 – Thursday, June 13, 2024: Morrissey Boulevard from Freeport Street to Mount Vernon Street (both directions)

Friday, June 14, 2024: from Mount Vernon Street to the Southline Boston entrance (outbound)

Saturday, June 15, 2024: from the Dorchester Bay Bridge to Bianculli Boulevard (inbound)

Monday, June 17, 2024: from the Dorchester Bay Bridge to Freeport Street and from the Southline Boston entrance to Bianculli Boulevard (outbound)

Tuesday, June 18, 2024: from Bianculli Boulevard to the Dorchester Bay Bridge (outbound)

Wednesday, June 19, 2024: from Bianculli Boulevard to the Dorchester Bay Bridge (outbound)

Thursday, June 20, 2024: Old Colony Avenue from Preble Street to the Kosciuszko Circle ramp (outbound)
