June and early July are packed with tea dances, marches, talks and other LGBTQ+ celebrations.
Here's how the Boston area is commemorating Pride Month.
Friday, 6/7
The Boston Dyke March , an anti-capitalist, intersectional gender liberation, returns to the Parkman bandstand on Boston Common, 6pm.
ASL interpretation, accessible by wheelchairs, strollers and scooters. An accessibility vehicle is available for those who need a ride for some or all of the march.
Masks required.
Club Cafe hosts the Pride Anthem Friday , a 21+ event hosted by model Ava Glascott, 10pm.
Author Sarah Boyer discusses her book , "Coming Out, Becoming Ourselves: Lesbian Stories from the Boston Daughters of Bilitis, 1969-1999," at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy, 7am-8pm.
Redi in Newton hosts “We are here and we are queer,” a retrospective discussion about the contributions the LGBTQ+ community has made in cannabis, 4pm-5pm.
Catch the discussion Monday in Newton or Tuesday, 3pm-4pm at Redi in Natick.
Drop by LGBT speed dating at Castle Island Brewing in Southie, 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Price: $29.
Bow Market hosts queer punk yoga upstairs, 6:30pm. All levels, cultures and body types welcome.
Geared for LGBTQ+ people and supportive allies.
Suggested donations: $15-25. Proceeds benefit the Trevor Project.

Beantown Softball League hosts CommuniTEA , a dance party and fundraiser, at Club Cafe 4pm-10pm.
