Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation recently announced the Alianza Park Series, a first-of-its-kind mobile beer garden and hospitality series coming to seven neighborhood parks across the City of Boston. Alianza Park Series combines a menu of small-batch brews from the Latino-owned Roundhead Brewing Company and farm-to-plate Caribbean American eats from Fresh Food Generation. Alianza (“Alliance”) speaks to the business partnership and invites attendees to travel and build community across Boston neighborhoods.

At each location, Alianza will operate from Wednesday to Sunday for two consecutive weeks before traveling to the next City of Boston neighborhood park. The first activation will launch in South Boston at A-Street Park on June 19.

“Roundhead partners with Fresh Food Generation to bring people together across Boston’s neighborhoods,” said Luis Espinoza, co-owner of Roundhead Brewing Company. “I am very proud to combine our cultures, and be a part of something that can only happen here in Boston.”

Alianza invites neighborhood groups, Boston-area artists, and local businesses to contribute to each site’s event calendar, to help promote the series, and to visit all seven neighborhood locations. Roundhead Brewing is offering a “passport”program to encourage visitors to travel and collect stamps from all seven neighborhood locations; travelers can redeem their stamped passports for prizes at Roundhead’s brewery and taproom in Hyde Park.

“Every two weeks, not only will the location change, but we will be featuring a new menu item in honor of each neighborhood.,” said Cassandria Campbell, CEO of Fresh Food Generation, a Boston native. “We’re excited to take our restaurant services on the road and create experiences in neighborhood parks as another place for people to connect. In designing the beer gardens, we are reserving space for local artists and organizations to organize activities and connect with visitors to their neighborhood.”

To make Alianza possible, Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation took on a 14-week lease and special use permit under a contract with the City of Boston Department of Parks and Recreation. These locally owned, BIPOC-owned small businesses were awarded the contract in February 2024. Alianza will work to create a more robust and vibrant public life for residents and visitors in Boston
