Magic Johnson Has Brutally Honest Reaction to Boston Celtics NBA Finals Win

If you were to consider the people in NBA history who probably hate the Boston Celtics the most, Magic Johnson might be up there.

His Los Angeles Lakers lost many games to the Celtics over the years as his rivalry with Larry Bird fleshed out into one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports.

While the two have been close over the years, you can never take away that competitive fire, or the hatred that Magic feels when thinking of the Celtics, let alone watching them win another NBA championship.

That was the case on Monday night with Boston beating the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 to win their 18th championship, the most in NBA history. After the game, Magic gave his honest reaction to the outcome on social media.

Before the Celtics' win on Monday, Los Angeles and Boston were tied for the most titles in NBA history at 17.

Now, Lucky has the upper hand, and with the way things are going in L.A., it doesn’t seem like that will be changing any time soon.
