James Harden Gets Roasted After Boston Celtics Win 2024 NBA Finals

It was a special night for the Boston Celtics, who defeated the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to win their 18th championship, the most in league history.

It was an especially special night for Al Horford, who had played 17 seasons in the league without winning a championship, making him the active player with the most playoff games and no ring.

No longer.

Horford was a big part of the Celtics' championship run, giving a veteran presence to the team full of young superstars like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. However, now that Horford has his ring, there is a new active player with the most playoff games and no ring.

Having spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Clippers, Harden has made it to the conference finals a couple of times and to the NBA Finals once (2011-12). He has never won, though.

Will that change? Who knows -- it's impossible to say. There are still a few years left for Harden to try, at the least, but I don't know that I would bet on it happening.
