The Fourth of July is Thursday, and celebrations are happening all week long! We’ve rounded up everything from fireworks to special events just for you! Happy Birthday, America! (Check back, as this list may be updated.)

    Cookout

Having a backyard cookout for the Fourth? From hot dogs to hamburgers to their delicious sides, Foodies has everything from fresh produce to desserts to beer and wine to make your get-together perfect!

    Order a Case of Wine

Join Social Wines Social Club! The ‘Social Club’ is Social Wine’s affectionate name for their client list. When you check out at the register (name and email), they remember all of your purchases. It’s a great way to refresh your memory on wines you’ve tried and helps them make suggestions for other wines based on them. They also require a Social Club membership for deliveries and can easily take phone orders by looking up your previous purchases. It’s free and helps Social Wines dial in those recommendations! So stop by to pick up some wine and join the social club!

    Boston Harborfest

Boston Harborfest, one of the country’s largest Fourth of July festivals, returns to Boston Harbor and Downtown Boston for its 42nd edition July 1-4. The long-running festival, celebrating Boston’s revolutionary history and its everyday vibrancy, will feature dozens of events and activities, including live entertainment, historical re-enactments, integration with U.S. Navy Week, fireworks, and more. The latest event schedule is now available at www.bostonharborfest.com.

    Baby, You’re a Firework

On Saturday, July 2nd, head to the Seaport District to see fireworks along the water via HarborFest around 9:30 p.m. Spots to watch – the Barking Crab, Envoy’s Outlook rooftop or Cisco Brewers Pop Up. For a romantic pick – head to Mastro’s Ocean Club.

    Backyard Bottles from American Provisions

For the holiday weekend, pick up this juicy ROSÉ 3-pack 🍒🍒🍒 this box of fun has bubbles, is light + refreshing, and tastes like your fave summer berries via American Provisions! The perfect pairing for any grilling going on!

Independence Day Backyard BeerBQ at City Tap House

On July 3 and 4, City Tap is teaming up with Jack Daniels and Sam Adams to bring a taste of Americana to Fort Point. City Tap’s al fresco area will proudly display an oversized American flag on their façade while the stars and bars also will be featured prominently throughout the space in all their glory. Hot from the grill, there are specials including a Freedom Frank ($14), a grilled beef ‘dog topped with bacon, Colby jack cheese, jalapeños, relish and mustard served with hand-cut fries; Red White & BBQ ($25/35), a half- or full-rack of slow-cooked BBQ pork ribs with pineapple coleslaw and hand-cut fries; and the Stars & Stripes Sampler ($33), a combo plate of two All-American burger sliders, a half-rack of BBQ pork ribs and a Freedom Frank complete with corn on the cob and potato salad. To sip, there’s Liberty Lemonade ($15) – a frozen lemonade topped with Jack Daniels – and Sam Adams American Light ($7 per 10oz/$10 per 14oz), a newly released lager made with all American ingredients.

Give into your competitive side with giant Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole and Plinko (the latter that will score you Sam Adams’ t-shirts and koozies!) while DJ Liz Ladoux mixes top-40 and American-themed classics late-night on Wednesday. Make sure to guzzle those Sam Adams American Lights because with every pour, you’ll be entered to win prizes – a branded boombox or a sling chair – over the two days. From the Jack Daniels crew, swizzle those Liberty Lemonades because one whiskey-loving loyalist will take home a Yeti cooler filled with a JD grilling kit, their signature smoking chips and more.

    Turn it around

USS Constitution is scheduled to go underway from Charlestown Navy Yard on July 4th at 10:00 a.m in honor of Independence Day! USS Constitution’s cruise will be viewable from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and Charlestown Navy Yard. There will fire a 21-gun salute viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island at approximately 11:30 a.m. While you’re out at Castle Island, you might as well get some lunch or ice cream at Sullivan’s! The turnaround will commemorate the 248th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

    Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

At 8pm on July 4th, the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will take place along the Esplanade, with a concert performance at the Hatch Shell. Musical guests include Darlene Love, The Mavericks, Kelli O’Hara + more. The fireworks display over the Charles River begins at 10:30 pm but you’ll want to arrive when the event gates open at 12pm to secure a spot. Godspeed. Heading to the Esplanade? Read this first!
