    How the Boston Celtics made history with their latest NBA title

    There's no denying Boston made history with this week's 106-88 win against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

    Zoom in: We all know by now the Celtics now have the most titles in NBA history, surpassing the Lakers, but the team left its mark in other ways.


    👶 At 35, Joe Mazzulla is the youngest coach to win an NBA title since coach Bill Russell won in the late 1960s at age 34, per NBC Sports .

    • The last person who held that record is Hall of Famer Pat Riley, who was 37 when he led the Lakers to the championship in 1982, per NBA.com .

    🇩🇴 Alfred Joel Horford Reynoso, AKA Al Horford, is the first Dominican player to win the NBA title.

    🔥 The Celts' final record for the regular season and the playoffs was 80-21, the 13th-best record in NBA history, per NBA.com .
