With the Fourth of July falling on Thursday, and the long weekend that follows being one of the prime vacation kickoffs, there is a much smaller list of musical options. But the Levitate Music and Arts Festival will be taking place at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, Friday-through-Sunday, and there are some other choices too. The Spire Center in Plymouth takes a break until July 26, and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, and The RegattaBar in Harvard Square are both taking the next couple months off.
