2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown had so much fun during the Boston Celtics ' June 21st championship parade that he lost a customized ring in the middle of the celebration.

After the parade, Brown posted a photo of the ring while asking the public's help to find it. JB promised a 'big reward' to whoever returned it to him.

On Tuesday morning, Brown announced via Twitter that his ring had been returned, thanks to a couple of Celtics fans named Luke and Adi.

    Brown fulfilled his promise

However, before informing everyone on social media that he already got his ring back, Jaylen had an impromptu meeting with the good Samaritans on Causeway Street where they returned Brown's ring. In the video, a member of JB's team first checked on the two if they indeed had the C's star missing ring. When it was confirmed, he signalled to the SUV as if to call someone.

JB then pulled out of the vehicle wearing sunglasses and a hoodie, presumably not to attract attention. After exchanging pleasantries, Brown gave them a signed basketball and a Celtics jersey. Online fans reacted to the exchange by asking where the 'big reward' Jaylen promised was. If you look closely at the video, it appears the 2024 Finals MVP brought it although he didn't want to mention it.

While he was giving the basketball, Brown can be seen holding a 'thick' white envelope with his left hand. This is seen at the 0:32 mark of the video. When JB gives the envelope to Luke, the guy can be heard saying, "You should take…reinvest this in the community".

Brown told him, "No, that's for you."

JB is on a mean winning streak

Brown is coming off an impressive postseason where he won both the Larry Bird trophy as Eastern Conference Finals MVP and the Bill Russell trophy as the 2024 NBA Finals MVP. Jaylen averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game against the Mavericks in the championship series.

The Celtics defeated the Mavs 4-1 to win their first title since 2008 and their 18th overall. Boston broke a tie with their rivals Los Angeles Lakers for the most banners by an NBA franchise.

JB earned his first NBA championship ring in the process, but he also lost a customized ring with the inscription 7UICE covered by diamonds while celebrating the victory. The ring appears to be one that Jaylen made to celebrate his "7UICE" sportswear brand. He got it back, and Brown proved he was the real MVP when he made good on his promise.
