Noah Kahan Commands Attention With Bold Demand During His First Sold-Out Concert at Fenway Park

Noah Kahan made a mighty bold statement during his Fenway Park concert debut, demanding the attention of his fans as though the crowd wasn't already there to see him.

The "Stick Season" singer found himself in stiff competition with the setting sun as he took the stage in Boston, cheekily taking a page out of Miranda Lambert 's playbook as he sternly told the audience, "If I see one of you looking at that sunset and not me I'm gonna...freak out."

Although the crowd was largely silent while Kahan spoke, fans quickly burst into laughter. The moment uploaded to TikTok happened at the singer-songwriter's first of two sold-out shows in the Massachusetts capital on Thursday, July 18. The TikTok user, Kathryn , assured him that "the sunset didnt [sic] even compare to your first night at #Fenway."

Another video showed the ethereal beauty of the evening's sunset, featuring blindingly bright hues of yellow and orange over the edge of the stadium's walls.

Kahan was clearly joking, later coming to X to say, "It all makes sense, that was what it was all for Thank you fenway for the best night in my 27 years of life," but the out-of-pocket comment was reminiscent of the viral demands that the "Little Red Wagon" songstress has made in complete seriousness at several recent shows.

The country crooner has faced backlash for interrupting her show to scold fans , telling them, "I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way," while pointing to herself on stage, and even earned the title of the "Grinch of Country" after popping a beach ball that fans had been bouncing in the crowd.

Suffice it to say, Kahan likely won't receive a similar nickname anytime soon.
