    DRY WEATHER RETURNS

A cold front moved through Thursday evening, setting up Friday for much drier and sunnier weather. The morning will start comfortably in the low 60s, and by the afternoon, temperatures will reach the mid-80s. Coastal areas will be about 5 degrees cooler. If you’re heading to the Cape, strongly consider leaving early to avoid traffic. It’ll be a popular place!

    SUNNY AND COMFORTABLE WEEKEND

Saturday will be mostly sunny, still dry and comfortable with highs in the mid-80s. It’s perfect for a beach day or a barbecue. On Sunday, expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-80s. Coastal areas will once again be about 5 degrees cooler. It’s an ideal weekend for outdoor activities anywhere in New England. Don’t forget the sunscreen if you’re spending time outdoors though; the UV index will be very high (8).

NEXT WEEK: MORE HUMIDITY, CLOUDS, AND STORMS

Monday will see a weak low-pressure system making a close pass to shore, bringing more clouds and a bit more humidity. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid-80s and humid, with isolated afternoon storms. It’ll be a good idea to have an umbrella handy if you’re out and about, but no need to cancel outdoor plans.

    Enjoy this beautiful weekend!
