Dwight Howard's got jokes for Jayson Tatum. The Boston Celtics star was noticeably absent from Team USA's first game in the Olympics against Serbia. Steve Kerr's tight rotation and Kevin Durant's hot hand meant that Tatum was one of the odd men out on the roster.

After the game, Howard poured salt on Tatum's emotional wound. The ex-NBA star hilariously invited the Celtics star to join his league. Howard plays for the Taiwan Mustangs in 'The Asian Tournament' with former All-Star DeMarcus Cousins.

"Jayson we could use another champ In my league 🤷🏾‍♂️ !", Howard joked, while linking a compilation of his highlights.

After not being signed to an NBA team, Howard is on a world tour. The former Los Angeles Lakers champion played for Taiwan and the Philippines and was rumored to play in Puerto Rico and Australia.

Howard was also infamous a year ago for "recruiting" players who had bad games on social media. This would explain why Howard seemed to call out Tatum, who did not even play in Game 1 of Team USA's Olympic campaign.

As for Tatum, the decision to not play him still confuses fans today. Kerr said that the Celtics star will be playing in their game against South Sudan, so that's at least a silver lining for his fans.

In their tune-up against South Sudan, Tatum came off the bench and scored nine points with a rebound, a steal, and a block.
