Matt Damon: I Didn’t Want to Jinx the Celtics

Actor Matt Damon joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show to promote his new movie with Casey Affleck, “The Instigators.” They talk about how difficult it is for him to attend live games in Boston and his fear of jinxing his teams. And Dan goes fanboy on the Jason Bourne franchise and proposes a plot line for the next movie.

Dan Patrick: “Where were you when the Celtics won the title?”

Matt Damon: “...I was in my house jumping up and down. At times, I want to go to these events and I want to go to these games...but more often than not I like watching at home. I feel safer at home. I feel like I’m not going to jinx the team in any way if I’m just on my couch.
