The Boulder Police Department is asking the public for help amid an indecent exposure and possible burglary investigation that involves a suspect potentially targeting local college-aged women.

The police say the suspect, 51-year-old Nimroid Boles Folsom, has been seen following college-aged women to their homes at night over the past few days in Boulder's University Hill and Goss Grove neighborhoods. Police have indicated that the suspect has a prior arrest record related to the crimes and that they're worried that these alleged crimes could escalate.

Folsom currently has a no bond warrant out for his arrest for one count of indecent exposure, described as 5-foot-5 with black hair and brown eyes, weighing about 140 pounds. He is known to often be on a bicycle.

Anyone with information on Folsom's location has been asked to contact the Boulder Police by calling 911 and referencing case number 24-5477.

Boulder also reminded locals to make sure homes are secure, to be aware of their surroundings, to walk with other people when possible, and to stay in well-lit areas. Authorities also told the public to keep blinds closed in private areas, especially on the ground level.

All claims made against the suspect are merely accusations and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
