Colorado football picked to finish outside of top 10 in Big 12 media preseason poll

The Colorado football team is expected to have another long season in 2024.

That's according to Big 12 football media members who voted on the conference's preseason poll.

Colorado has been picked to finish 11th in the 16-team Big 12 this fall after their 4-8 campaign and last-place finish in the Pac-12 a year ago.

Utah received 20 first-place votes and is the pick to win the Big 12 in 2024. Kansas State is picked to finish second, followed by Oklahoma State, Kansas and Arizona.

The Buffs play each of the teams picked to finish in the top five, and just two of the teams (Baylor, Cincinnati) they play were picked to finish in the bottom five.
