FANS are slamming the Colorado Buffaloes after spotting a subtle change to the team’s jerseys in a practice clip that has surfaced on social media.

In a post shared by Barstool Sports, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders could be seen wearing his jersey at practice with his social media handle on the back.

College football fans immediately rushed to the post to slam the change to the team’s uniforms.

“Not a serious team,” raged one fan.

“Lmao joke program,” a second commented.

“It’s all about the money,” claimed a third.

“More concerned about people knowing your social media than becoming great at ball,” a fourth said.

“One of the many reasons this team will go nowhere,” a fifth fan commented.

The Oregon Ducks head coach, Dan Lanning, previously bashed the Buffaloes for the team’s intentions last season.

ESPN aired the 38-year-old coach’s pre-game speech during their demolition of the Buffaloes last season.

Heading into the game , all the talk had been about Colorado .

Led by NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders , they went 3-0 to start the season and took college football by storm, dominating the headlines.

But tenth-ranked Oregon was far too much for the rebuilding program.

“Rooted in substance. Not flash. Rooted in substance. Today, we talk with our pads,” he told his team .

Increasing his intensity, Lanning yelled: “You talk with your helmet. Right. Every moment. The Cinderella story is over man. Right.

    “They’re fighting for clicks, we’re fighting for wins. There’s a difference. There’s a difference.

“This game ain’t gonna be played in Hollywood, it’s gonna be played on the grass.”

The speech seemed to work, as the Ducks cruised to a dominating 42-6 win over Colorado.

After starting hot last season, the Buffaloes quickly were exposed, losing six straight games to end the season.

They finished last in the Pac-12 conference last year with a record of 4-8.

Colorado struggled against conference opponents, winning only one of nine games.

But the Buffaloes won’t have to worry about that again as they join the Big-12 conference for the 2024 season.

The University of Colorado Board of Regents unanimously approved a resolution in July 2023 allowing the University of Colorado Boulder to join the Big 12 Conference effective for the 2024-25 academic year.

Colorado will start the college football season at home on August 29 when they host North Dakota State.
