Youths can apply to Boulder police cadet program
Youths from 14 to 21 can apply to be a Boulder Police cadet to learn more about law enforcement practices and training. The cadet group meets Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. To apply, candidates must have a 3.0 minimum GPA, must pass a background check and must have written consent from a parent if under 18. Once accepted, participants receive free training.

After a magical time in Kansas defeating three hometown teams, Team Colorado, the alumni team in the Tournament, ran into a freight train in the Houston alumni team at the semifinal game in Houston on Tuesday night. The defense, much like the real Houston Cougar team, was suffocating for the former Buffs and they just couldn’t get the offense rolling tonight.
