Transportation News US 36 proposed bikeway and wildlife crossings
Boulder County's Transportation Planning Division is working on a Feasibility Study for the US 36/North Foothills Bikeway, an eleven-mile corridor spanning from the intersection of Broadway and US 36 in Boulder to the intersection of US 36 and CO 66 in Lyons. Superior man accepts plea deal in overnight police standoff case
A Superior man who barricaded himself overnight from sheriff’s deputies in October accepted a plea deal in March and has been sentenced to 18 months of probation. Michael David Turner, 44, pleaded guilty to third-degree assault – knowing and recklessly causing injury and child abuse – knowing or recklessly causing no injury.
Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee to attend site visit
The Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee will attend a site visit outside Longmont from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday. This is an informational trip for the committee members to view water delivery infrastructure, storage facilities, and ditch operations.
