I’ve made this decision, as it reflects my commitment to both journalistic integrity and thoughtful timely discourse. First and foremost, any election period is a time of significant importance in any democratic society. This election will determine for many years to come, the direction of our country. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> It is a time when we are all called upon to make decisions that will shape the future of our community, our state and our country. With such high stakes, it is crucial that the information surrounding the election remains as unbiased and clear as possible. By stepping back temporarily, I aim to ensure that my personal views do not inadvertently influence the political process or sway public opinion in a manner inconsistent with fair and balanced reporting. As we know in recent years, the media landscape has become increasingly polarized. This polarization can often lead to an echo chamber effect, where individuals are only exposed primarily to opinions that reinforce their own.
