    Prescribed burn underway in northeast Longmont

    Longmont locals can expect to see a prescribed burn near the Ute Creek Golf Course over the next week and a half.

    In a Facebook post, Longmont Public Safety has asked the public to not call the non-emergency line or 911 to report the burn that is scheduled to last until Nov. 1, weather dependent.

    The burn will be in the water delivery system area of the golf course from Pace Street to Colo. 66.
