KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri man is one million dollars richer thanks to using his spare change to purchase a lottery ticket at a Blue Springs Price Chopper. A man was making a pit stop at a Price Chopper off Highway 7, and decided to get a ticket in the June 15 drawing. The day after the drawing, he checked his ticket when he received a message that he had never seen before.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) 12U team capped off their perfect season with a 16-8 victory over 7 Cedars on Thursday, June 27. FOE head coach Joe Starr could not have been any prouder of his squad for accomplishing the difficult feat of going undefeated. The final message he wants to give his team is to continue playing baseball even with the season wrapped up. Starr wants his boys to continue their love of the game and suggests they can play catch with a ball or be on a travel team to continue improving.
