Has closed at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Its space next to the Apple Store has been cleared out of merchandise. A sign on the door provides a number to call for deliveries, so it appears they haven't fully vacated the premises yet. However, the logo signage outside the store is gone.
Truck hits Beltway bridge support near River Road; one injured
Traffic was delayed for hours Sunday morning and one person was injured when a truck struck a bridge support beam under River Road in Bethesda on the Inner Loop of the BeItway, according to authorities. Theatre Review: ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘The Rover, or the Banish’d Cavaliers’ presented by Shakespeare Theatre Company Academy
For the first time in its 24 years in existence, Shakespeare Theatre Company is presenting the final performances of the STC Academy’s Master of Fine Arts program on one of the theatre’s main stages. The Repertory productions are Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and the 1677 Restoration comedy, “The Rover, or the Banish’d Cavaliers,” by Aphra Benn. The actors in this year’s class are strong talents, and we can expect to see them trodding the boards at STC and other top theatres in no time. With few exceptions, they prove to be exceptional performers. That said, the two shows selected for the Academy Summer Repertory have a few issues.
