CWEC linemen help with Navajo Nation project
Eland man among crew bringing electricity to Indigenous tribe. For the second year in a row, two linemen from Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative (CWEC) traveled to the Navajo Nation in Arizona to take part in the Light Up Navajo Project. Linemen Mack Yarbrough and Josh Wick spent a week in May working to bring electricity to residents of the Navajo Nation.

A domestic situation caused some traffic issues on Waldo Boulevard. Manitowoc Police Officers were called to the area of the major thoroughfare just west of Rapids Road just before 4:30 Wednesday evening (July 17th) after a woman reported that her boyfriend had taken her keys, leaving her car stranded on the side of the road, blocking traffic.
