In a somber update from Lake Michigan, officials have confirmed the recovery of two children after a sailboat capsized near Chambers Island in Wisconsin. The bodies of a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son were located on Monday, as reported by People. Named Charlotte and Josh, the children were sailing with their father, 32-year-old Bill Salnick of Little Suamico, Wis., when they went missing. The sailboat, an 18-foot Gulf Coast named My Lady Blue, was found capsized early Monday morning.

Mercury Marine schedules partial layoffs for 1,700 workers amid sales slump
FOND DU LAC (WLUK) – About 1,700 workers at Mercury Marine have partial layoffs the rest of the year, as the company continues to cope with declining sales. In June, the company announced 300 workers would lose their jobs. At the time, the company also said there would be “workforce adjustments” at plants in Fond du Lac and elsewhere.
