BGSU celebrates 901 graduates during summer commencement

BOWLING GREEN – Bowling Green State University will hold summer commencement on Friday and Saturday.

The 310th commencement celebration at BGSU begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday with a hooding ceremony and reception for doctoral degree candidates in the Thomas B. and Kathleen M. Donnell Theatre at the Wolfe Center for the Arts.

Following BGSU tradition, a ceremony for all doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s, and associate degree candidates will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle.

The 2024 BGSU summer graduating class consists of 901 candidates, of whom 30 will be presented associate degrees, 376 will be presented bachelor’s degrees, 364 with master’s degrees, and 142 with doctoral degrees.
