New Investments in High-Performance Computing to Advance AI Research Efforts at UGA
The University of Georgia is enhancing its AI research capabilities with a $2.4 million upgrade to its High-Performance Computing cluster. This summer, the Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center will add 26 new Graphical Processing Unit compute nodes and three high-RAM nodes to the Sapelo2 cluster. These additions, which include 12 quad-H100, 2 quad-A100, and 12 quad-L4 NVIDIA GPUs, are designed to significantly accelerate AI research and data processing.
