With things tied at 1-goal apiece in the 37th minute Gavin Rapp buries the penalty kick attempt to put the Scouts on top 2-1. That PK goal was Rapp's second of the half.

The Chargers were overwhelmed by the Diplomats offensive fire power, as they fell short, with a final score of 0-5. The Chargers start off 0-1 on the season, while the Diplomats begin 1-0. How It Happened:Chargers were fired up to face the visiting Diplomats in their home opener. The first half started off in a way they didn't expect though, as the Diplomats struck early. The visitors scored just two minutes into the game to take an early 1-0 lead. The Chargers responded readily keeping the Diplomats scoreless for the rest of the half.
