Man accused of killing Rapid City woman with can of beans claims cause of death was ‘spontaneous’
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - The Rapid City man accused of killing Edleigha Little back, 40, in November of last year had another appearance in court Monday. Pedro Simental, 44, is charged with one count of first-degree manslaughter. He is accused of hitting Little with a can of beans, causing trauma to her head which resulted in her death on November 10.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - South Dakota Jobs for America’s Graduates celebrated its 15th Anniversary on Monday at Cherapa Place in downtown Sioux Falls. SDJAG is a state-based nonprofit that serves youth who face significant challenges. The program helps these students to graduate high school and meaningfully enter postsecondary and the workforce.

The US National Weather Service Sioux Falls South Dakota issued a forecast indicating the highest risk for thunderstorms on Tuesday. The forecast shows a 40% chance of rain, particularly around areas like Brookings and Madison.
