Paullina woman arrested on theft charge
ORANGE CITY—A 39-year-old Paullina woman was arrested about 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Orange City on a charge of third-degree theft. The arrest of Abby Jane Hansen stemmed from a complaint from Dollar Fresh in Orange City that she stole $971 worth of merchandise since April, according to the Orange City Police Department.

Speeding Ashton woman arrested for OWI
ASHTON—A 20-year-old Ashton woman was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence. The arrest of Avery Mae Zylstra stemmed from the stop of a 2015 Kia Cadenza Premium clocked at 71 mph on Marsh Avenue at 210th Street about six miles northwest of Ashton, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
