Town of Gretna to replace water treatment plant

The cost to attempt restoration would effectively be more than getting a brand-new, modern facility. The faithful plant will be retired after decades of service, and a new one is set to be constructed, according to Bill Gillespie, Gretna’s town manager, in an update to town council in June.
