A six year old child died after being left in a car for hours in blistering heat, with the boyfriend of her mother now facing accusations over the heartbreaking incident.

Markise L. Outing, 24, rushed the young girl to the Southern Manatee Fire Department in Bradenton, Florida , around 5:17pm on Monday, May 20, seeking urgent medical help, as per the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. The child was sadly pronounced dead at 8:16pm later that same day.

Paramedics discovered the girl unconscious , not breathing and potentially in cardiac arrest, they immediately attempted life-saving measures before rushing her to a local hospital for advanced care. MCSO stated that medical staff recorded a body temperature of 107.2 degrees.

Officials report that Outing initially claimed the girl had become overheated from playing in a park, however, an investigation including GPS data revealed he had actually left her inside a parked car at his workplace for several hours. They added that the suspect's statements were inconsistent, reports the Mirror US .

Deputies said further investigation showed that Outing collected the victim from school and drove to the 4600 block of 19th Street Ct. East around 2:45 p.m. He then left the girl alone inside the car with the windows rolled up while he was inside the business.

MCSO reported that the temperature inside the car had escalated to over 115 degrees . The post-mortem examination revealed that the victim succumbed to extreme heat, but detectives are still awaiting a toxicology report. Outing was apprehended on June 25 and charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child. He was detained in the Manatee County Jail.

In a separate incident, a three year old girl tragically died in a scorching hot car after her father forgot she was buckled in her car seat in the family driveway.

Little Charlotte Jones was off sick the day her father Scott drove her and her sister to school for the usual drop-off. However, when Scott returned home with his unwell daughter still in the back of their car - he forgot she hadn't been dropped off at school that morning.

Sadly, Scott logged on to work in his home office at the family's Arizona home - where temperatures had reached 98F (36C) - only realising his precious daughter was still in the car when his wife called to check on them four hours later. In heart-wrenching details, mum Angela remembered how her husband's voice fell on the phone when he realised his mistake. Scott immediately dialled 911, but it was too late as their daughter had succumbed to the heat and died in the car.
