BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — Officials in Manatee County are asking for help identifying a teen who showed up at a Bradenton fire station.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said the teen gave two different names, Shai Fletcher and Mathew Byrd, and said she left home after an argument with her parents.

Officials said she is assumed to be around 17.

Despite this, the teen could not provide officials with verifiable information or an address for her parents or guardians.

The teen also could not explain how she arrived at the fire station, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mark Morie at 941-747-3011.
