    Manatee County is getting a popular Florida-based coffee shop, building records say

    An Orlando-area coffee company is doubling its Sarasota-Manatee reach.

    Foxtail Coffee Co. has plans to open a second Manatee County-area shop, according to county building records.

    The company, which sources organic Arabica coffee, filed paperwork with the Manatee County Development Services to build a 1,489-square-foot shop at 11675 Moccasin Wallow Road in the Market Walk at North River Ranch near Fort Hamer Road in Parrish.

    Foxtail has an existing coffee shop at University Town Center.

    The company was founded in 2016 in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando. According to company history, Foxtail roasts its coffee in Orlando.

    Foxtail’s menu includes cold brews, fresh brews, teas, lattes, hot chocolate, espressos and more. Customers can also ask for a French press, pour-over or siphon brewed method.

    Despite starting eight years ago(?), the company has expanded quickly with locations in four states. There are four Foxtail Coffee Co. stores in Georgia, two in Michigan and one in Nevada.

    The company’s website has a list of coming soon shops, though the Parrish one is not listed yet.
