A 65-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured June 28 in a crash on Leraysville Road in the Town of Warren. Towanda-based Pennsylvania State Police said Wednesday that Robert S. Bromley, 65, of Laceyville, Pa. was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling northbound shortly before 4 p.m. when the bike crossed into the wrong lane and struck a southbound Jeep.

First responders save woman, dog who fell over embankment
Local first responders rescued a woman and her dog who had fallen over an embankment near a scenic overlook on Sheshequin Road south of Athens on Tuesday. According to the Bradford County Department of Public Safety, the 911 call came in at around 11:30 a.m.. When first responders arrived, they determined that the embankment was steep and additional resources were requested.
Firefighters knock down blaze at Page Manor
A fire broke out at the Page Manor in Athens Borough on Monday afternoon, but quick work by local firefighters prevented it from spreading. Bradford County woman falls for online scam
Towanda, Pa. — A 59-year-old woman was scammed after she gave her bank account information to a thief on social media. Trp. Daniel Kopec of state police at Towanda say the woman contacted police on June 25 after she discovered someone had made fraudulent accounts using her banking information. The woman, who lives on Colonial Drive in North Towanda Township, admitted she had given the information to a scammer on social media. As a reminder, state police are warning people not give out personal information to strangers on the internet.
