2nd Street Bridge scheduled for evening closure July 24
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Clark Memorial Bridge — also known as the 2nd Street Bridge — will be closed in both directions for several hours next week. The bridge that connects southern Indiana to 2nd Street in downtown Louisville is scheduled to close during the evening hours of Wednesday, July 24, starting at 7 p.m. and continuing until midnight.
Louisville Man Charged With Murder After Fight
A 31-year-old man accused of killing another man during a fight in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood pleaded not guilty in court Thursday morning. Alonzo Thomas is charged with the murder of Thaddeus Miller after they got into a fight in a parking lot on West Chestnut Street. According to the arrest citation, Thomas believed Miller had taken his gun from his girlfriend, who was trying to keep the gun away from Thomas.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville homeowners shared their thanks to two MSD workers after they rescued five of their ducklings. In a post from Louisville MSD, the homeowners at Cobblestone Estates off Chamberlain Road called MSD for help after the ducklings fell through a grate on Cotehele Place.
