Homeless man arrested for deadly stabbing of woman at Winter Haven construction site: Police
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - A man was arrested in the deadly stabbing of a woman at a construction site in Winter Haven in late July, according to police. According to the Winter Haven Police Department, Kenneth Lawrence Foresyth Jr., 21, was charged with second-degree murder, among other charges, and booked into the Polk County Jail in connection with the stabbing.
Youth football League Registration Open For 2024 Season
For younger athletes who still want to participate in football but not at the high school level, the City of Plant City is proud to offer a youth flag football program for the 2024 season. Tampa Bay wildlife rescuers searching for owl missing since Hurricane Debby
BRANDON, Fla. — A great horned owl that escaped his enclosure during Hurricane Debby is missing, as rescuers continue to look for him after nearly 10 days. The Raptor Center of Tampa Bay said their owl, which they have had since he was 6-weeks-old, is named Charlie. Staff said he is blind in one eye, doesn't know how to hunt, doesn't fly well and will not survive in the wild, according to a Facebook post.
