Caroline (Cay) Ballou Eden, of Washington, D.C., Lake Wales, Fla. and Edgartown, died peacefully on July 17 in Greenwich, Conn. She was 93. Cay was born in Providence, R.I. on February 27, 1931 and attended the Wheeler School (Providence, R.I.), Emma Willard School (Troy, N.Y.) and Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in education with a Minor in art.
