PILGER - A Stanton resident was seriously hurt after falling between 25 and 30 feet at a worksite in Pilger yesterday (Wednesday) morning. INDIANAPOLIS— A grass playing surface is probably coming to Memorial Stadium, though not until at least 2026. "But I'm not guaranteeing it will be '26," Husker athletic director Troy Dannen said of the possibility. "There's other stadium work that we are planning to do and it would be a part of that stadium work. So really, how the stadium work would be aligned with (that). I don't want to put grass in and then have to go drive trucks over it and tear the grass up again."
