Dozens gather in Burlington to remember those who died from substance abuse
BURLINGTON, Vt. — A local group held an event on Thursday to remember the many people who have died from substance abuse in Vermont this year. According to the latest state data, 65 people have died this year related to opioid use, with available statistics through May. However, that number is down from the three-year average through May of 89 deaths.
