JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson police are investigating the city's latest homicide. Officers were called Sunday, June 30, to the 3100 block of Woodbine Street, where a man had been shot. "Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital," Detective Tommie Brown said in a Tuesday news release.
