FOND DU LAC COUNTY – A 32-year-old Brandon man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in the town of Springvale July 15.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office responded around 7:30 p.m. Monday to a 911 call that a pickup truck had rolled over and was upside down in a ditch near W11615 County TC.

Lifestar Ambulance transported the driver, who was the lone occupant, to ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin with a serious arm injury.

A witness had seen the truck driving westbound on County TC, and investigators believe the truck traveled into the south ditch and reentered the roadway before the driver lost control, and the truck rolled several times until it came to rest in the north ditch.

The crash is still under investigation, but the sheriff's office believes speed, failure to maintain control and alcohol could be factors in the crash.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, second offense.

The highway was shut down to one lane between County M and Liner Road for approximately one hour.

Brandon-Fairwater Fire Department and Brandon-Fairwater First Responders also responded to the scene.
