    City of Branson looking for 2 new Board of Directors

    BRANSON, Mo. — The City of Branson is looking for two Board of Director applicants for the Tourism Community Enhancement District.

    The application process opened today, July 15, and will close on July 29 at 4:30 p.m.

    The Board of Alderman will vote on the applicants the Mayor selects.

    To apply, you can go to the City Clerk’s Office at 110 W. Maddux Street, Suite 205, or online at www.bransonmo.gov .

    The Tourism District’s geographic boundaries unite the tourism community across county lines to include the City of Branson, the Village of Indian Point and tourism-oriented portions of Taney and Stone Counties including Silver Dollar City. With staggered terms, each director serves for three years beginning October 1 and ending September 30. These open terms expire in 2027.

    The seven-person volunteer TCED Board oversees approximately $10 million in tourism tax and guides decisions related to the region’s marketing and sales functions.
